My personal pitfalls of body fat measurement (before reading these reports). Male age 39, 5’11, 71kg’s. BIA result 18.5% body fat. Bodpod 17% body fat. 7 site skinfold test carried out every day for 3 days, rounding up the mm readings, the highest % body fat out all the skin fold tests 7.9%.
I have to agree 100% with these reports, its all just not very accurate accurate predictions. And if you get too obssesd with it, diet hard enough and donate your body to medical science you’ll get your true body fat % read out at your funeral.
I did these tests out of curiosity, I’m into cycling (I dont train with weights). I like the lean “look” and it helps with racing. The mirror is a good test & if you can see leg veins and stomach muscles (and your family think you should eat more) then your body fat is pretty low.
Don’t waste your money on bodpod, use your eyes.
Stay fit and healthy people (eat clean).
