Research Review December 2020

The December 2020 issue of the Weightology Research Review is now online!

This issue features two MASSIVE video reviews in lieu of some written articles. In the first one, I cover the latest meta-analysis on low carb diets and energy expenditure. This is one of my most detailed and extensive reviews yet, clocking in at 1 hour and 14 minutes!

In the other hour-long video review, I address many myths surrounding dairy, similar to how I slayed the gluten myths in the last issue. The video even has a special guest appearance by my friend Dr. Spencer Nadolsky.

Rounding out this month's content are a mix of reviews by Dr. Cody Haun, Dr. Brandon Roberts, and myself covering training, supplementation, and portion sizes.

  • Revisiting Low Carb Diets and Energy Expenditure (Video Review)
  • Train for Strength = Get More Muscle?
  • Can Multi-Ingredient Pre-Workout Supplements Help You Perform Better?
  • Collagen for Recovery?
  • Can Visual Cues to Portion Size Reduce the Number of Portions Consumed?
  • Dairy: An Overview of Claims & the Scientific Evidence (Video Review)

Whether you're trying to build muscle, lose fat, compete in physique shows, or help your clients lose weight and get fit, there's something in this issue for everyone.

Subscribers get reviews of 6-8 different studies each month in web, mobile-optimized PDF, and digital flipbook versions, and access to an archive of 300+ video and written research reviews, evidence-based guides, and Q&As.
